Here is a free browser add on that helps to prevent tracking of you activities and private information. It is called "Do Not Track Plus".

I boycott Facebook and have no account on Facebook, yet I just learned that Facebook is tracking me just by having buttons on this site.

Thanks to this app, I have blocked Facebook from tracking me.!
